Here is a great find! This old barometer is going to be a Halloween clock. (I hope!)

Finally done! After purchasing glass for the front (barometers have a hole in the glass) one of the cats knocked it over breaking the glass ( none of them would own up to it either!) so I bought plexi glass this time! Worked great!

Tribute to my Dad

Some of the songs in my playlist are there just because they make me remember my Dad.
Gunsmoke, Hogans Heros, and Star Trek. Good memories of summers evenings with the slightly cool air coming through the screen door while these show were on TV. Actually back then I was a little aggravated that we had to watch HIS shows, but now they bring back wonderful memories.

I've begun dabbling in jewelry making. I find I like polymer clay, and I am creating some pieces with vintage images on them. I have one design that I call Sisterhood.
I have written a poem to go with it.

What is important to me.

I have always loved Halloween. I have found many friends through my art, which makes it even more special to me. My Halloween poems are very special to me. I re-paint vintage frames, and use them for my poems. I belong to a Halloween Artist group called SEHA (society of eclectic halloween artists) My SEHA Sisters are all dear to my heart.

Morgan my Grand Daughter is the light of my life. My Daughters Rachel and Shari have been the center of my world since they arrived on this earth. They are very good souls, and I am very proud of them.
I also have a very close family, that consists of my Sister, who understands me better than anyone, and wonderful and talented niece, and her wonderful family as well.

I have a 15 year old cat named Dootsy, and two visiting cats named Milli and Ginger, I also take care of 5 semi wild cats that were practically abandoned when our neighbor moved to a nursing home. Their names are: Tommy, Baby Mama, Grey Baby, Spooky and Big Daddy. I will take some pictures of them soon.
